Children’s Art Classes is Education Insiders’ 2026 Art Classes Provider of the Year!

Designed for children as young as three and extending through adolescence and beyond, Children’s Art Classes offers a structured, studio based art education that unfolds over years, allowing students to grow steadily while forming a lasting relationship with art. Our program is designed to nurture creativity, build artistic skills, and foster confidence through an award-winning curriculum that covers more than 40 art techniques and mediums.

The program grows with students year after year, offering age-based weekly classes, summer workshops, camps, and special events like birthday parties. It gives kids a creative outlet to explore drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more — while also helping enhance focus, self-expression, and lifelong passion for art.

Our programs blend artistic skill-building with community and confidence-boosting experiences, helping young artists develop foundational techniques and discover their creative voice.

In Cary, we’re inspiring creativity and confidence in kids through fun, hands-on art classes, camps, and workshops. Our programs teach drawing, painting, sculpture, and more while helping children explore their imagination and build lifelong skills in a supportive, local studio.

Weekly Art Classes

Tiny Hands (3-4 years old) | Register until May 1, 2026.

Introduction to Art (5-6 years old) | Register until May 1, 2026.

Beginning Art (7-8 years old) | Register until May 1, 2026.

Art 1 (9 years old and up) | Register until March 1, 2026.

Trial Classes

Trial classes are offered on Saturdays and are $25. If you choose to enroll your child in a weekly class after completing the trial class, we will discount your registration by $25.

This summer we are offering creative, hands-on half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 7 and up. Each camp runs for a full week and is designed to inspire imagination, build artistic skills, and let kids explore new materials and techniques in a fun, supportive environment.

Our summer art camps are designed for children ages 7 and up.

Each program is thoughtfully structured to engage young artists at this stage of development, helping them build skills, confidence, and creativity in a supportive studio environment.

All art materials are included in tuition.

• The Procreate app pre-installed

How to Register

• To enroll in a half-day camp, add either the Morning Session or the Afternoon Session to your Sawyer cart.

• To enroll in a full-day camp, add both the Morning and Afternoon Sessions to your Sawyer cart.

Camp Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation policy below:

• Full Refund
You will receive a full refund if you cancel more than 7 days before your camp begins.
This means cancellation must be made before 9:00 AM on the Monday one week prior to your child’s camp start date.

• No Refund
Cancellations made within 7 days of the camp start date are not eligible for a refund.
This includes cancellations made after 9:00 AM on the Monday one week prior to your child’s camp start date.
